Afrikawisa Guesthouse Group is owned by a well-travelled host, a rural girl with a passion for exploring the world. Our ethos revolves around three core principles: Affordability, Comfort, and a true sense of home amidst your travels. The inception of Afrikawisa was born out of personal travel woes and I'm pleased to witness us addressing those challenges for our guests.
Throughout the years, my family and I have had the privilege of welcoming guests from around the world into our homes. Through these interactions, we've gained invaluable insights and a deeper appreciation for global perspectives. Unlike many businesses, our employees are carefully selected to address the high single parent rate and unemployment rate in young people in South Africa. Most of our are parents and breadwinners in their households.
They are dedicated, friendly and love to make you feel comfortable. Our ask to you is – help us create opportunities for families.
We are ideally located for airport transit, and before leaving or proceeding your trip into South Africa. Ideal for weary travellers or just to ensure you do not miss that flight.
